Mauboussin

Mauboussin was founded in 1827 by the French jeweler, M. Rochelle and his cousin Baptist Noury. They established a jewelry shop in Paris, which by 1850, had been taken over by Noury. Though faced by many challenges during this period, including two revolutions, a world war, and a cholera epidemic, Noury remained steadfast in his desire to be recognized as a skilled jeweler. Noury efforts were recognized in 1878, with a prestigious Jewelry medal from Paris.
